Landscaping – Day Four

garden_4.jpg

The bricks and stone blocks are being laid. You can start to see the shape of the beds on the left-hand side as they are surrounded by bricks. There are still two palettes of bricks to lay so I’m guessing they will be working on that for the next few days. But it’s coming along very quickly. Every night when I come home from work I rush out to see what the difference is. I’ll keep posting a new photo everyday until it’s done. Very exciting!

    Hi mtp!

I’ve been meaning to comment for a while but my envy has prevented me. But your comment on my site has encouraged me to put my fingers to the keyboard!

Every time I look at how your garden is shaping up I go green and drool a little! It’s going to be so lovely. Just imagine what it will be like in the summer with sunshine and plants and your baby snoozing in a pram while you do the weeding. How can you contain the excitement?

Potagers are definitely the way to go. Allotments are so old hat! ;)

Aww! Thanks. It’s all looking a bit industrial at the moment. I just can’t wait to get some greenery in there.

Is there a person posing right in the background (through the doorway) in all these shots? Or maybe it is just my imagination! It’s looking good anyway – can’t wait to see how it develops.

Very exciting … will you keep posting a daily photograph once you start planting, because then it will be magical AND instructive

Liz – you are right. Infact, the ghostly figure is just me taking the photograph. There is a mirror in the middle outhouse that is picking up the reflection.
    Good eyesight though!
