Hi Obese – not I wouldn’t say it’s too late.
Pop some in now and put them in a warm spot or better still in a heated propogator. Once the seeds have germinated turn the heat off and harden them up quick. I put some cherry tom seeds in just last week.
Failing that you always buy plants from the garden centre.

I have a tomato seed question… My crops have just been totally decimated by an escaped rabbit… :O and I was wondering is it too late to propagate tomato seeds? it is still April (just very very late in April) please help!!!

I think it sounds lovely! I`m a trained cook and professional gardener now and I love the intermingling of the two. Dandelion leaves (of which we have many!!) are so well known in salads these days, but its worth trying if you haven`t heard of it folks. I sell mainly flowery plants, but if you want a browse to see the unusual ones we`ve got please feel free.

Mmm…..might be appearing on a plate near here soon, although I now trap my mint plant in a pot, planted inside a plant trough (with cut again salad leaf mix & a parsley plant).
